You don’t need a large model railway to enjoy seeing your train in motion.
With Akarset Train Shuttle, a simple straight section of Märklin C-Track can become your own automatic railway display.
A shelf, a display cabinet, a desk or any suitable surface is enough. It can be 1 metre or 10 metres long — you decide.
Place your locomotive on the track, set the operating parameters, and Train Shuttle takes care of the rest. The train travels automatically from one end of the track to the other, stops, waits, changes direction and starts its journey again.
Give them a track. Let them move.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
- Adjustable speed for each direction — Left and right running speeds can be set independently.
- Independent starting power — Starting power can be adjusted separately for each direction.
- Adjustable acceleration — The locomotive can start gradually instead of receiving full running power instantly.
- Adjustable waiting times — Different waiting times can be selected for the two ends of the track.
- Adjustable stopping response — Left and right stopping behaviour can be configured independently.
- Automatic direction change — Train Shuttle generates the required reversing command automatically at each end.
- Adjustable reversing pulse — Reversing voltage and pulse duration can be configured for different analog Märklin locomotives.
- Current monitoring and protection — The system continuously monitors track current and provides an adjustable current limit.
- Track voltage monitoring — Track supply voltage is monitored by the controller.
- OLED display — Operating status and setup parameters are shown directly on the unit.
- Rotary control — All settings are made from the front panel using a single rotary control with push-button operation.
- Settings memory — Your configuration is retained after the system is switched off.
- End-of-track detection — Dedicated left and right detection inputs provide automatic shuttle operation.
- No locomotive modification required — Compatible analog locomotives do not need electronics installed inside them.
Once configured, no user intervention is required — Train Shuttle continuously manages the journey, stopping, waiting and direction changes automatically.

HOW IT WORKS
Train Shuttle turns a simple straight Märklin C-Track into a fully automatic shuttle line.
The train travels between two detection sections located at the ends of the track. When it reaches an end section, Train Shuttle detects the train, stops it, waits for the programmed time, changes the locomotive’s direction and starts the return journey.
Each direction can have its own running speed and starting power, allowing Train Shuttle to be adjusted to the individual characteristics of your analog locomotive.
SIMPLE TRACK INSTALLATION
Only a straight Märklin C-Track line and detection sections at both ends are required.
There is no need for a complete model railway layout, digital command station or computer. The track can be installed on a shelf, display cabinet, desk or any suitable surface.
DESIGNED FOR ANALOG MÄRKLIN
Train Shuttle is specifically designed around the operating characteristics of traditional analog Märklin locomotives.
The locomotive remains original. No decoder, additional electronics or modification inside the locomotive is required.
Direction changes are performed automatically by Train Shuttle using the traditional Märklin reversing method.
